Founded in 1896, the Douglas Choral Union has gained an enviable reputation for high quality musical productions. Our shows are staged at the beautiful Gaiety Theatre in Douglas. They range from light opera and musicals to music hall and pantomime. The sets and costumes are of West End quality, as is the wonderful orchestra. Every year we use a professional Director, who sets the very highest standard of performance for our talented cast.

The aim of the DCU is to bring you a special musical experience that you will remember for a very long time. We look forward to seeing you at our next production.

Deadline for submitting Audition forms is Friday 3rd July, any forms received after this date will not be eligible, with NO exceptions.

Auditions Format:

Saturday 11th July - Scoill Vallajeelt, Meadow Crescent, Douglas.
                                              

10 am Start  ~   Chorus Auditions
This will be in groups for a Dance Audition (Each group member will require 2 tankards or cups for Gaston’s routine in Tavern.)
Some will then be called back later in the morning for “Be Our Guest” and the Can-Can routine.
                                                                      
2:30pm Approx    Chip Auditions
3:15pm Approx    Principal Auditions
8.30pm Approx    Callback times for Sunday will be published
